Our journey took us through Banff National Park, along one of the most scenic highways in the world, and deep into the wild calm of Jasper National Park, and every stretch of road felt cinematic.
Banff National Park — 3 Days / 3 Nights
From the iconic turquoise waters of Lake Louise to the dramatic curves of Moraine Lake, Banff delivered postcard moments one after another. Quiet hikes, scenic lookouts, reflective lakes, and lively downtown strolls — the perfect balance of nature and charm.
The Drive That Steals the Show
Then came the journey between Banff and Jasper via the legendary Icefields Parkway.
232 kilometres of winding road where glaciers loom overhead, waterfalls spill beside you, and every pull-over feels like a scene from a movie. What should take three hours easily stretches to six — not because of traffic, but because you’ll want to stop everywhere.
Jasper — 2 Days / 2 Nights
Jasper felt quieter, wilder, more expansive. Boat rides to Spirit Island, still lakes reflecting jagged peaks, and moments of calm that remind you why nature-led travel hits differently. It’s the kind of place that invites you to breathe deeper and move slower.
This trip reminded us why road trips remain our favourite way to travel — freedom, flexibility, and the joy of discovery at your own pace.
